Who we are
At the Institute of Biblical Studies, we believe every follower of Jesus is called to know God deeply, grow in His Word, discover their calling, and serve His Kingdom faithfully.
As an initiative of Blessing Global Assembly of God Church, we equip students through biblical learning and practical training in Ministry, Counselling, and Worship.
More than an institute, we are a community of faith where students study, pray, learn, grow, and encourage one another to become committed disciples and effective servants of God.
Why we exist
IBS equips, trains and releases faithful, able men and women into the nation of India and other nations, to impact villages, towns, cities and nations for Jesus Christ.
Our purpose is to provide a God-focused and Bible-centered environment with a strong emphasis on spiritual life, prayer, evangelism and other basic aspects of discipleship. We help establish a spiritual foundation and then equip students to apply the principles of God’s Word in their lives and ministry.
Our Institute is a place where students are exposed to the gifts and workings of the Holy Spirit and obtain knowledge in sound biblical doctrines and theology. It is a unique practical learning environment in a multi-cultural/ethnic setting.
How we equip
We offer a good balance of both Biblical and Practical subjects. Lectures are given by college faculty and Visiting speakers. Personal study, reading, workshops, regular tests and exams complement the material presented in the lectures.
We also believe in supernatural impartation through association with anointed ministers. IBS emphasizes the love of God in demonstration, the anointing and presence of the Holy Spirit and the Supernatural work of God.
Practical Ministry:
All Students are required to be involved in field work and practical ministry during all semesters.
Library Resources:
All students will have access to IBS's Resource Centre which contains reference books and study guides, Christian literatures and other digital resources.
